Each pin will have an edition size of 2500, and five new pins will be released each week starting August 13, 2006 in anticipation of this magical anniversary. Walt Disney World® Resort commemorated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Walt Disney with a special celebration that began on October 1, 2001.
